i4Siri Update: To Work With Spire And Eliminate Need For 4S

Since the last post on jailbreaknation i4Siri has made some great progress. We have acquired a member of the team who is very experienced in server end scripting. Mark DiFranco (@shark17) has been hard at work on our server. We plan to implement google voice api to process speech sent from siri on your idevice. With google voice api we will not need a authed connection with apple therefore we can have a server that works 100% without authentication. This will also be legal. Once the connection is made with the google voice api, we will have to program plugins for the server. Since apple will no longer process the commands we have to program every function ourself.
Our server should support spire. We have in fact purchased our server. The specs of the server are below:
Ubuntu Server
  • Quad Core i7
  • 12GB DDR3 RAM
  • Two HD’s in RAID-0
We have also been able to get the iPod Touch 4G (8GB) working with Siri. The video below shows this off. This demo uses the i4SiriAuthTweak that can be downloaded on the i4Siri Repo. (http://repo.i4siri.com) This tweak is to be applied on older devices with iPhone 4S auth keys. Auth keys can be obtained by following the tutorial here.
We hope to be able to release the server soon but we have no ETA. To stay informed be sure to follow @MrAjsTech, @Leftyfl1p, and @shark17

Thanks and Regards
